NATURE HIKE
9 a.m.
Bruce Ause will be leading a hike through the uplands of Frontenac. Meet at the campground amphitheatre. Bruce will point out a variety of natural features. A number of birds and species of wildlife are possible sightings. Bring binoculars and cameras if you have them.

VOYAGEUR CANOE TOUR: PADDLING INTO MINNESOTA'S PAST
11 a.m., 1, 2:30, & 4 p.m.
Help paddle one of two 10 person canoes while guides share stories from early explorers. Paddles and life jackets provided. Participants must be 10 years old and able to swim. Registration is required and is limited to the first 18 people for each tour. Register at the park office or call (651) 345-3401 and leave your name, phone number and number of people attending. |
