Lake City, the birthplace of water skiing, is located on the Mississippi River, 60 miles southeast of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Beautiful Lake Pepin, the widest spot on the Mississippi, forms the eastern edge of the community, with bluffs forming the remaining borders. Quality of life is unsurpassed. Lake City has a small-town atmosphere with big-city amenities. The City is located in Wabasha and Goodhue counties.

400 acres of parks, beaches, ball fields & tennis courts are maintained. The Lake City Marina is the largest small craft marina on the Mississippi River. Golfing is also available and the area grows Minnesota's favorite apple, the Haralson.
