Weekly Fishing Report 6/30/09
Lake Pepin
The walleye and sauger bite just keeps on going strong on Lake Pepin. Lots of decent fish are still being caught in the lake by those trolling crank baits and also on live bait rigs useing leaches and crawlers. The cooler temps of the past couple of days should only help to prolong the good bite as water temps are still in the low 70's and should remain there in the near future. The bass and cat bites are also going strong in the many backwater and side channel areas of the river system. Good luck to all and get out there and have at em folks....
