Main Street Assessment Survey is LIVE NOW!
Take part in an online survey to share your thoughts, perceptions, and ideas for downtown Lake City. This survey is meant to gain insight from residents of all ages (kids included) who live in or near Lake City, as well as people who work in Lake City. All surveys will be anonymous. The survey takes approximately five to ten minutes.
This assessment program helps to identify community assets and revitalization activities for historic downtown districts. These assessments are facilitated by Rethos, a nonprofit organization working nationwide for the use of old buildings and sites and the statewide coordinating entity for the Main Street program in Minnesota and sponsored by a grant from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.

All Individuals who live or work in or near Lake City, Minnesota, are invited to share their thoughts on Downtown Lake City in an online survey.
Lake City, MN is one of three recipients of a Downtown Assessment, a program that helps to identify community assets and revitalization activities for historic downtown districts. These Assessments are facilitated by Rethos, a nonprofit organization working nationwide for the use of old buildings and sites and the statewide coordinating entity for the Main Street Program in Minnesota, and sponsored by a grant from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.
Staff from Rethos, the coordinating partner for Main Street America in Minnesota, in partnership with Lake City Chamber of Commerce are encouraging Lake City locals to take part in an online survey to share their thoughts, perceptions, and ideas for Downtown Lake City.
This survey is meant to gain insight from residents of all ages (kids included) who live in or near Lake City as well as people who work in Lake City. This input will be analyzed and included with information from other related surveys and studies with an end objective of identifying community values and themes to direct planning and goals for downtown revitalization.
All survey input will be anonymous. The survey will take approximately five to ten minutes to complete, and will be live from Monday July 11 through Monday July 25. To find the survey visit LakeCity.org and click on the Survey Button on the homepage.
