Johnny Appleseed

October 3rd (Downtown)

This hootenanny is family friendly and super fun. Celebrate the apple harvest and our creative community with us at Johnny Appleseed Days!

This year’s event will happen in downtown Lake City as we close off Washington Street for: Live Music, dozens of artists, crafters, and other vendors, food trucks, beverages, kids activities, wagon rides, Fresh Market Pie Eating Contest, and other family friendly fun!

Johnny Appleseed Beer and Cider Fest

October 3rd (Downtown)

Celebrate the autumn harvest with us at our 4th Annual Beer and Cider Fest!

Dozens of ciders and breweries will be on hand at Johnny Appleseed Days to sample their delicious elixirs.
Enjoy a full line up of incredible live music, scores of arts and craft vendors, numerous food trucks, and the most beautiful vistas in southern Minnesota, all whilst sipping on a variety of the regions best brews and ciders.

Touch-a-Truck

October 3rd 11am-1pm, (Patton Park)

Touch A Truck is back!

Join us for loads of activities for kids of all ages!
Ambulances, firetrucks, busses, oh my!

Remember when the big rigs conjured up all sorts of big feelings? Relive those with your family in Lake City, when kids (of all ages) can experience what its like to sit in the cab of a big truck.

Rotary Wine & Spirits Tasting

October 17th 6:30-9pm, (Port 104)

– Enjoy hors d’oeuvres from many of our wonderful local south shore restaurants while enjoying some live music!

– Sip on some of the best wine and spirits available in the area.

– Participate in a Silent Auction, Raffle, and Wall of Spirits, supporting Rotary’s Student Exchange Program!

Dead Run

October 3rd 9AM (Ohuta Park)

Haunted Hok Si La is on hiatus this year, but if you’re looking for a dead good time, come join our first annual Dead Run! Zombies, mummies, ghouls, and deceased, come in or out of costume and join us in a race where it is okay to come in dead last.
Run, shuffle, stumble, or drag along, this is the place where the dead rise (and run)!
(Run is a Fun Run with informal times given).
Medals and goodie bags guaranteed for the first 100 registered.

Haunted Trail

October 10th 6:30-9pm (Hok Si La Park)

Have you watched all the Friday the 13th movies? Do the woods at night kind of freak you out, but you kinda like it?
Well, the ghosts of Hok Si La have been discovered on the outskirts of Lake City! Come join us for a tour, if you dare. Don’t miss this one day haunted trail in Lake City’s beautifully spooktacular Hok Si La Park!

Not sure if it’s quite right for your littlest ones, don’t worry, come to Underwood Park on the 24th for some milder daylight fun from 11-1.

Patton Park Fun Zone

September 27 thru Nov 7 (Patton Park)

Bring your kids (or your inner child) to Patton Park all month long to play homemade yard games, take selfies with scarecrows, and experience Lake City’s most beautiful leafy park.
Stop down on opening day for a big celebration (including a petting zoo!) to kick off the whole month of events!

So, join us for this fundraiser at our local VFW, take a chance on the bucket raffle and have fun while assisting this great community event!
